In this module, we will be taking a close look at digital displays, switchers and camera control methods. We will also explore video storage devices used to archive and protect video surveillance files.
We will cover the basics of the various monitor types and storage devices employed in video surveillance systems, as well as the wide variety of connection types used to link these with other components of the system. We will also outline the environmental factors that may affect personnel who monitor video feeds, and gain a working knowledge of how video storage is optimized through networked and web-based storage strategies.
